IPP Rtn. Jayant Joshi reflected on the year 2007-08 by giving glimpses of the work done in this year. IPS PP Rtn. Pramod Ambekar elaborated on the projects executed. It was very well received and appreciated by the audience. All the board members and other Rotarians were awarded for their contribution in club activities.
Rtn. Sanjay Deshpande, in his acceptance speech, carried the messages of RI President D.K.Lee, of “preventing child mortality” and DG Bansi Dhurandhar “ASMITA and NAVPRERANA” to the august gathering. He told about the projects that will be executed in this year, in line with the thrust areas given by these two stalwarts. Our club has targeted 100% growth in membership this year and have committed to raise US$10,000/- for The Rotary Foundation.
Assistant Governor Milind Ballal showered his blessings on the club. Group Coordinator Krishna Kolambkar introduced the Chief Guest.
Chief Guest DGN Jayant Kulkarni, in his address, asked board members to be proactive and help the President to achieve GR8 heights.
